Hello holo! Sparkly cat prints!
For many years I've had a love-hate relationship with art prints, and why I've done so few prints of my paintings. As a traditional artist, I find myself dwelling on the original being the only one, the piece with all the painty texture and spirit. Prints are more easily accessible, usually both in number and in price - but sometimes sacrificing texture, color, depth, and quality. Art being accessible is super important though. That's why we share it here, right?
Knowing I should be offering more accessible art than just large original paintings (and needing to satisfy my own personal concerns about prints being boring copies) I decided to g
A new year
With December coming to a close, I look forward to this next year, hopefully one brimming with inspiration and opportunity. I thank all my watchers, clients, friends, and family for being so very supportive of what I do. I have a lot of commissioned work to do in the first quarter of the year, as well as the usual CCAD spring sale, so I will certainly be starting off the year productive and painting! I hope for the best for all of the fellow artists I watch, that they too will begin the year with open minds and bright inspirations in their respective creative avenues.

Christmas Commissions
I'm wrapping up some new pieces that I will debut at this year's CCAD Holiday Art Sale, so very soon my long-neglected dA gallery will have some fresh new colors in it. But until then I want to announce that I will be taking Christmas gift commissions up until December 7th. See below for my current listings on Etsy for prices and more details about how to commission a painting. And if you've skimmed through my gallery before, you know there's more than pet portraits - I can do family portraits, houses and buildings, even vehicles! If there's something special you want just note me here on dA or on Etsy.

Vacation!
I'm going to be participating in the Spring Art Sale at CCAD, and seeing how it's been a bit troublesome to get new paintings done with working overtime and doing other projects, I decided to take a week's vacation from the day job to get a huge chunk of artwork done. I am SO EXCITED. :D
